Backwash filter is a common type of filter, which can remove impurities and dirt inside the filter by backwashing. It works as follows:
Water intake: Water enters the backwash filter through the pipe, and filters out impurities and particles in the water through the filter screen.
Filtration: The water becomes clear after the filter screen, flows through the filter screen into the outlet pipe, and is supplied to the user.
Fouling: Over time, the filter in the filter will gradually accumulate impurities and particles, so that the water flow is reduced.
Backwashing: When the impurities and particles inside the filter accumulate to a certain extent, backwashing is required. In the backwash, the backwash pump reverses the water flow through the pressure, from the outlet pipe into the inside of the filter, and the accumulated impurities and particles are washed out.
Sludge discharge: With the action of the backwash pump, impurities and particles inside the filter are washed into the mud discharge valve at the bottom, thereby draining them out of the system.
Backwash filter is widely used in industry, agriculture, home and other fields, mainly used to filter impurities and particles in water, improve the quality of water. Common application scenarios include:
Industrial water treatment: Backwash filters can be used for water treatment in metallurgical, chemical, pharmaceutical and other industrial fields to ensure production quality and smooth process.
Agricultural irrigation: Backwash filters can prevent the damage of particles and sediment in irrigation water to sprinkler irrigation equipment, improve irrigation efficiency and crop quality.
Home water purification: The backwash filter can be installed in the household tap water entry, used to purify the impurities and particles in tap water, to ensure the safety and health of household water.
Swimming pool filtration: Backwash filters can be used for swimming pool water treatment to remove impurities and particles in the pool water to ensure that the water quality of the pool is clean.
