Precision filters are classified according to precision, filter medium, filter mode and other factors. The following are several common types of precision filters and their characteristics:
Classification by precision
According to the different accuracy, the precision filter can be divided into micro filter, over filter and nano filter. The precision range of the microfilter is 0.110μm, which is mainly used to filter bacteria and particles. More than the filter accuracy range of 0.0010.1μm, can filter viruses and polymers; The accuracy range of the nanofilter is 0.001~0.01μm, which can filter most ions and molecules.
Classified according to filter medium
According to the different filter medium, the precision filter can be divided into deep filter and surface filter. The deep filter is made of coarse fiber material, the thickness of the filter medium is large, and it can filter large particles and microorganisms. The surface filter is made of non-fiber material, the filter medium is thinner, the filter precision is higher, suitable for small particles and bacteria filtration.
Classify by filter
According to the different filtration methods, the precision filter can be divided into gravity filter and pressure filter. Gravity filter adopts gravity as the power to filter, suitable for large capacity filtration requirements; Pressure filter adopts external compression filter medium for filtration, suitable for high precision filtration requirements.
In short, different precision filters have different characteristics and application range. When selecting the precision filter, it is necessary to select the appropriate precision, filter medium and filter mode according to the actual needs.
