In the process of using chemical pumps, it is necessary to consider not only the distance of the pump room, but also the harm caused by nickel sulfate liquid to the environment and human health. Therefore, in the whole process of chemical pump pipeline design, in addition to strict requirements for pipeline quality In addition, there are strict requirements on the structural design of the entire pipeline.

Based on the corrosiveness and toxicity of nickel sulfate itself, the first consideration in the design of the entire chemical pump pipeline is the corrosion resistance of the pipeline. The specific analysis is as follows:

(1) The typical mechanical seal structure of chemical pump is mainly the seal of the back end of the centrifugal pump, including the seal washer between the impeller nut and the impeller, the seal between the shaft sleeve and the impeller, the dynamic ring seal, the static ring seal, the dynamic and static ring end faces There are 6 sealing parts such as seal and gland sealing ring. Among them, the dynamic and static ring end face seals are dynamic seals, which are the main sealing parts. It relies on the close fit and relative rotation of the end faces of the two rings to prevent the radial leakage of liquid; the rest are static seals, which play the role of auxiliary seals.

(2) The absolute mechanical seal in the entire pipeline design process can prevent the pipeline from being eroded by chemical liquids to a certain extent, and ensure the normal operation of the chemical pump. However, in actual operation, the materials required for this kind of pipeline have certain deficiencies in terms of price and service life, and chemical enterprises will inevitably increase the construction cost in the process of putting into use.

(3) In the design of the entire chemical pump pipeline, in addition to strictly controlling the material, it is also necessary to timely protect the surface of the pipeline, especially the pipeline made of some special materials. It is necessary to strengthen the overall protection of the pipeline surface and apply a corresponding protective layer on the surface of the pipeline to separate the metal layer on the surface of the pipeline from the external medium to prevent chemical reactions between the two. The surface protection of the entire pipeline mainly includes two ways, one is to use metal coating, and the other is to use non-metallic coating.
