Solve the Problem of Vertical Pump Leakage

Vertical pumps are the most common fluid transmission equipment in the chemical and water supply fields.
Vertical pumps have the characteristics of a small footprint and simple and convenient maintenance.
So when the vertical pump leaks when it starts and stops, what causes it? ? How to solve it?

Vertical shaft pump
The vertical water pump starts leaking water:

1. The clearance of the impeller is too large.

   Solution: Adjust the distance between the impeller and the pump body.

2. The main body O-ring cannot be effectively sealed.

   Solution: Check whether the main body screws are locked or replace the sealing ring.

3. If it is an in-tank pump, there is an overflow hole, and it is normal for water leakage at startup.

Vertical shaft pump shuts down and leaks:

1. When the effluent is higher than the liquid level, stop and return.

    Solution: increase the check valve at the outlet, or adjust the distance between the liquid seal and the ceramic seat to make it in close contact.

2. The contact surface of the inlet is not well sealed, the intake air does not leak water when it is turned on, and it reveals after the machine is turned off.

   Solution: Check the sealing ring and flange.
