The pressure difference of the security filter refers to the resistance generated by the water flow through the filter element, also known as the filter element resistance. The larger the pressure difference is, the filter element has been blocked by pollutants seriously, and the filter element needs to be replaced.
Specifically, the pressure difference of the security filter should be controlled within a reasonable range, which is usually recommended to be about 0.1-0.2MPa. When the pressure difference exceeds the range, the filter element needs to be replaced. Different brands and models of security filters, the pressure difference and the interval time of replacing the filter element may also be different, the user needs to determine the opportunity to replace the filter element according to the actual use.
During use, the pressure difference of the security filter can be monitored by the pressure gauge. When the pressure difference exceeds the standard value on the pressure gauge, it is necessary to replace the filter element. In addition, some security filters will also be equipped with differential pressure alarm device, when the differential pressure exceeds a certain range, it will automatically send an alarm signal to remind the user to replace the filter element.
It should be noted that the pressure difference of the security filter is not only related to the use time and pollution degree of the filter element, but also related to the flow of water, water quality and other factors. Therefore, in actual use, it is necessary to determine the time of replacing the filter element according to the specific situation.
