Magnetic pump is a kind of sealed pump using magnetic coupling to transfer power. Because of its advantages of no leakage, no pollution, no noise, etc., it has been widely used in chemical, pharmaceutical, electroplating and other industries. However, the magnetic pump may also appear some faults, the following introduces some common troubleshooting and maintenance skills.
1. Magnetic pump cannot start
If the magnetic pump can not start, the first should check whether the power supply and motor is normal, if the power supply and motor are normal, it may be the impeller stuck or bearing fault. At this time, remove the pump body, check whether the impeller and bearing are normal, and carry out the necessary replacement or maintenance.
2. Magnetic pump flow is reduced
If the magnetic pump flow is reduced, it may be the inlet pipe blockage or the accumulation of impurities inside the pump body. At this time, maintenance can be carried out by cleaning the inlet pipe or removing the pump body for cleaning.
3. Magnetic pump leakage
Magnetic pump leakage is a more common fault, may be shaft seal, pump body or connector parts sealing poor or aging seals. At this time, the pump body and shaft seal should be checked, and the leakage part should be replaced or repaired.
4. The magnetic pump makes too much noise
If there is too much noise in the magnetic pump, it may be the bearing failure or the internal impurities into the pump body. At this time, maintenance can be carried out by checking the bearing and cleaning the internal impurities of the pump body.
5. The temperature of the magnetic pump rises too high
Excessive temperature rise of the magnetic pump may be caused by excessive internal wear of the magnetic pump or excessive ambient temperature. At this time, maintenance can be carried out by replacing the seals inside the magnetic pump or adding cooling measures.
In short, magnetic pump troubleshooting and maintenance requires professional skills and relevant experience, should be carried out by professionals. For the use and maintenance of the magnetic pump, regular inspection and maintenance should be carried out to ensure the normal operation of the magnetic pump and extend the service life.
