  The selection of magnetic pump should consider the following factors:

  Medium characteristics: including medium flow, density, viscosity, corrosion, temperature, pressure, etc., these characteristics determine the size of the pump, material and performance.

  Process requirements: including flow, pressure, temperature and other process parameters, need to determine the magnetic pump performance parameters.

  Safety requirements: need to consider the magnetic pump sealing, reliability, explosion-proof safety performance.

  In the production process of a chemical enterprise, the organic solvent under high temperature and high pressure needs to be transported from the storage tank to the reaction kettle. Because the organic solvent is inflammable, explosive and corrosive, the traditional mechanical seal pump cannot meet the safety requirements. After selection and evaluation, the enterprise has chosen a magnetic pump suitable for the requirements of the process.

  The main parameters of the magnetic pump are: flow 25m³/h, head 40m, power 7.5kW, medium temperature 150℃, pressure 1.0MPa. The main material of the pump is stainless steel and ceramic, which can withstand the corrosion of the organic solvent.

  The magnetic pump is installed next to the storage tank, and the storage tank and the reaction kettle are connected through the pipeline to realize automatic transmission. The main characteristics of magnetic pump are no leakage, no pollution, no damage to the medium, to ensure the safety and stability of the production process.

  Through this case, it can be seen that the selection of appropriate magnetic pump can effectively solve the problem of dangerous medium that the traditional pump can not deal with, improve production efficiency and production safety.
